The 1912 Link Farm Covered Bridge spanning Sinking Creek in Giles County, Virginia. This 50-foot single-span bridge modified with iron rods is one of three covered bridges remaining in Giles County. This bridge is not open to vehicle traffic and is located on private property. Built in 1912 by James Maurice Puckett, it was bypassed in 1949, repaired in 1995, and took damage from tropical storm Gaston in 2004. The bridge is a Queenpost. It is also called: Mountain Lake Covered Bridge and Bradley Covered Bridge.
The bridge rests on abutments constructed on the northwest end with mortared large natural stones, and on the southeast end on poured concrete. The bridge is covered with red-painted horizontal lapped siding on the sides and portals. The deck consists of crosswise planking with runners and the roof is covered with green-painted metal sheeting.
