    The 1875 Richards Covered Bridge is a historic wooden covered bridge located in Cleveland Township in Columbia County, Pennsylvania, and Ralpho Township in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.  It is a 64-foot-long, Queen Post Truss bridge, constructed in 1875.  It crosses South Branch Roaring Creek and is one of 28 historic covered bridges in Columbia and Montour Counties.

     

    Built by Columbia and Northumberland Counties at a cost of $565.00. The original bridge on this site was near John Richards' farm.

     

    Length of largest span: 56.1 ft.
    Total length: 64 ft.
    Deck width: 11.5 ft.
    Vertical clearance above deck: 11.2 ft.
