Reeser - 1892
The 1892 Reeser Covered Bridge, also known as Anderson Farm Covered Bridge and Mud Run Covered Bridge, originally spanning Mud Run, was reportedly moved to the Agway chemical plant property, approximately two miles south of Bermudian, when the land was owned by a local farmer named Anderson.
In 1994, the 79-foot bridge was moved again, this time to the farm of the elder Mr. Anderson in Adams County, Pennsylvania. His ancestors had originally built the bridge. Today, it crosses a small pond on the property and is said to be used for storage. Even so, it seems to be well cared for.
It is believed the bridge was built around 1892.
Of the 1,500 covered bridges that once stood in the state of Pennsylvania, as of 2019, approximately 200 remain.
