The 1882 Ramp Covered Bridge, also called Failor's Mill Bridge, is a historic wooden covered bridge located in Hopewell Township in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. It is a 130-foot-long (40 m) and almost 19 feet high Burr truss arch bridge that crosses the Conodoguinet Creek 11 feet above the creek at low levels.
Ramp Bridge is the only covered bridge in Cumberland County still in use in its original location. The wooden bridge was built by a local carpenter for $2,173.
It was repaired extensively in 1967. Later, in 2020, it was closed for rehabilitation to address deterioration and damage from natural causes and vehicular accidents on the bridge. This 3-ton limit bridge reopened in October 2021 and carries 250 vehicles a day. With the new approaches and tighter radius, it will keep overweight vehicles from using the structure.
Repairs to the bridge were completed by Jay Fulkroad and Sons in McAlisterville for $788,777.
Ramp Bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
