Parr's Mill - 1865
The 1865 Parr's Mill Covered Bridge No. 10 is a historic wooden covered bridge located at Cleveland Township and Franklin Township in Columbia County, Pennsylvania. It is a Burr Truss arch bridge with a tarred metal roof constructed in 1865. It crosses the North Branch of Roaring Creek. It is one of 28 historic covered bridges in Columbia and Montour Counties.
F. L. Shuman constructed this bridge in 1865 for $1,275.00. In 1875, Washington Parr purchased the Willow Grove Grist Mill nearby, and it became better known as Parr's Mill. The bridge is intact but closed to all traffic.
