    The Krickbaum Covered Bridge is the southernmost covered bridge in Columbia County, Pennsylvania.  Also known as Kreigbaum Covered Bridge, this bridge was constructed in 1876 and crosses the South Branch of Roaring Creek. Krickbaum Covered Bridge is 62 feet long and has a width of 13 feet 8 inches.

     

    George W. Reefer built this bridge in 1876 for a cost of $732.00. William Krickbaum's grist mill was once situated near the bridge site.

     

    This bridge utilizes a Queen post design. The bridge is shared by Northumberland and Columbia counties. The structure is owned and maintained by both counties, it is open to vehicle traffic.

     

    The length of the largest span is 48.9 ft. The deck width is 13.5 ft. Vertical clearance above the deck is 11.8 ft.
