Glessner - 1881
The Glessner Covered Bridge is a historic covered bridge in Stonycreek Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1881 and is a 90-foot-long, long-multiple Kingpost truss bridge, with half-height plank siding and a tin-covered gable roof. The bridge crosses the Stony Creek River. It is one of 10 covered bridges in Somerset County and replaced a covered bridge built in 1881 in 1998. Also called PA-56-08 #2.

Deck width: 11.2 ft.
Of the 1,500 covered bridges that once stood in the state of Pennsylvania, as of 2019, approximately 200 remain.
