The Colvin Covered Bridge was constructed in 1886 (although there is controversy over the date) and is one of only two remaining multiple king-post bridges in Bedford County, Pennsylvania.

The Colvin Covered Bridge has recently been refurbished. It is a multiple king-post bridge, resting on concrete abutments. Built in 1894, it crosses Shawnee Creek.  The creek is a popular place for fishing. The bridge is County-owned.

The bridge is 66 feet long, and 12.5 feet wide.

Of the 1,500 covered bridges that once stood in the state of Pennsylvania, as of 2019, approximately 200 remain.
