The Chestnut Creek Covered Bridge is also known as Grahamsville Bridge and was built in 1976 at the entrance of Neversink Park in Sullivan County, New York. 

Chestnut Creek Covered Bridge, at 40 feet in length,  has a steel structure that accommodates vehicles. Its truss is a stringer but has the appearance of a Town Lattice.  Pedestrians walk on the outside along a wooden walkway.  It was constructed by volunteers, supervised by Robert Grey.

Covered bridges have long been in existence in New York State. At one time, over 300 spanned our rivers and streams. Due to flooding, storms, and other acts of nature, that number has dwindled to 24. Some were lost to vandalism and arson, which to covered bridge enthusiasts, is the most sinister of all.
