The 1872 Halls Mill Covered Bridge is a historic wooden covered bridge located in Hopewell Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania. This 91-foot-long (28 m), Burr Truss bridge with a medium-pitched gable roof crosses Yellow Creek and is one of fifteen historic covered bridges in Bedford County.
This is the seventh bridge that has been built on this location since 1860. The builder is unknown. The current structure was built in 1884 and refurbished several years ago. The drivable bridge is county-owned and is in excellent condition.
Like many of the other covered bridges in Bedford County, this 12.5-foot-wide Halls Mill Bridge is painted white with red trim. Its sides are open, offering great views down to the creek below and the surrounding farmlands while standing on the bridge.
Hall's Mill Bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
